Lisa-Maria Feike, lives and works in Duisburg, studied at the Düsseldorf Art Academy. She has been a master student since 2019. She graduated in 2019. She is a painter and author.

I consider myself a New Romantic painter. Thematically, I particularly explore landscapes, which, while inspired by real places (sometimes people and animals), largely arise from my imagination. There are works that deal with fantasy and mythology, but also paintings that reflect my homeland and those that lie far away, even into the vastness of space.
When choosing motifs for sky and night paintings, I explore the intensity of light in relation to darkness. I am particularly fascinated by luminescent colors, which lend my paintings a transcendent path into a dreamlike structure. Into a world of transcending consciousness, even if some of them lie in this world.
The effect of dreams also forms a thread to my daytime paintings. I want to create a space where the viewer can escape their everyday worries and rediscover the magic of childlike, imaginative existence.

My literary works explore the same themes, particularly light, energy, and magical worlds. My passion lies in writing fantasy romance novels, but I'm also fascinated by fairy tales and poetry. I draw inspiration from my imagination and everyday life.
In my books, narrative and illustration go hand in hand, explaining and complementing each other.
